Directions to meetings
To LeMoyne College's Falcone Library
We generally (but not always) meet here. Here are the directions to Le Moyne College, the map of LeMoyne College, to the Library, and to the Special Activity Room inside the library.
To the Allens' house
From the west:
Take W. Genesee St. toward Syracuse.
Pass Fairmount Fair.
Go to the stoplight after the Terry Road stoplight.
Turn right onto Parsons Dr. (then see below)
From the south:
Take 81 North to 690 West, then see directions for "From east."
From the north:
Take 81 South
Get off at Exit 23A and follow the signs to Hiawatha Blvd. Hiawatha Blvd will be the first traffic light when you come off the ramp.
Turn right on to Hiawatha Blvd and continue to the end of the road.
Turn left.
Go to the first light and turn right on to W. Genesee Street.
Continue on W. Genesee Street. After about about a mile you will pass Westvale Plaza on your right. After the plaza the next stop light will be Parsons Drive.
Turn left on to Parsons Drive. (Then see below.)
From the Baldwinsville area:
Take 690 to Rte 695 (Auburn).
On 695 follow the signs to Fairmount.
When the road ends at W. Genesee St., turn left onto W. Genesee St.
Go to the next stoplight after the Terry Road stoplight, which is at Parsons Dr.
Turn right onto Parsons Dr. (then see below)
From the east:
Take 690 West. Get off at Exit 10 and turn left.
Go to the second light.
Turn right onto W. Genesee St.
Go about 2 miles to the first stoplight after Westvale Plaza, which is at Parsons Dr.
Turn left onto Parsons Dr. (then see below)
AT PARSONS DRIVE (a divided street with a grass median):
Go to the third intersection at Grove Rd.
401 Parsons is diagonally across the intersection.
It's a tan house with white trim and dark green shutters.
It's the only house with almost no lawn!
NOTE: We use the Grove Rd. side of the house, not the Parsons Dr. side. It's futile to ring the doorbell at the front of the house!
To Dave and Beth's house
229 Ambergate Rd., DeWitt (445-2620).
From Genesee St. in DeWitt, turn South onto Jamesville Rd.
Take the first left onto Canterbury Rd.
At the stop sign turn right onto Dewittshire Rd.
Continue on Dewittshire around the corner, past the first crossroad (Wellington Rd.) to the second crossroad (Ambergate Rd.).
Turn left onto Ambergate.
229 Ambergate is the second house on the right (white house, green shutters).
To Hope's house
Hope's house is at 8 Pebble Hill Rd. N., Syracuse 13214.
To Peter's home in Tully
418 Long Road, Tully. Tele 696-8332. Take 81 South to Tully exit (exit 12). Turn left off the exit ramp. Go right onto route 80 passing in front of Burger King. Go 1.3 miles on route 80. Left turn onto Gatehouse Road (at bottom of a hill). Take Gatehouse Rd for 0.7 miles staying to the right at the Y. Take a right at the stop sign and go up a short hill. Go left on Long Road. It is the third house on the left. The home is one mile from Song Mt Ski Area.
